From Compton to Changhua
Dom Jones is an internationally recognized social advocate, educator, and media personality from California. Since December 2025, she has partnered with My Culture Connect to bring a school assembly tour to Changhua County.
Each campus visit gives students the chance to hear living English from an American speaker, connect their local school to the wider world, and reflect on kindness, courage, and the value of their own voice.
Three commitments
Students hear natural, lived English from a working American media personality and respond in a real assembly setting.
Dom connects Changhua classrooms with Los Angeles, the United Nations, and the wider world students are preparing to enter.
Every visit centers empathy, unity, and the belief that every student's voice and dreams matter.
Spring 2026
Every visit is a full-school assembly: Dom takes the stage in English, students answer back, and each school's young reporters document the day in a short campus news segment. Afterwards she sits down with the principal.
