Review last week's assignment. Ask 2–3 students to share. Correct one common error and celebrate one strong example.
Teach 5–10 target words. Always include: meaning, Chinese equivalent when useful, example, synonym, antonym, and/or word family.
Movie Premiere: students present. Class gives positive awards: Best Vocabulary, Best Storyteller, Best English Speaker, Most Creative.
Each student produces something before leaving: a sentence, answer, mini-story, explanation, role-play, or spoken response. Keep it quick and visible.

In Chinese, opening with modesty is good manners. In English it is taken literally, and it tells the audience to expect something bad before a single sentence has been heard. Replace it with a real opening — the difference in how a talk lands is enormous.
中文裡謙虛開場是禮貌，英文裡會被照字面接收：一句話都還沒聽到，聽眾就先被告知「接下來會很糟」。換成真正的開場白——同一份簡報，效果差非常多。
Not language — delivery. These three are worth more than any extra vocabulary at this stage, and they can all be fixed in one rehearsal.
這三件跟語言無關，是台風。到這個階段，它們比多背單字有用得多，而且一次彩排就能修好。
Without a task, the audience rehearses their own talk and hears nothing. Give every listener this card — it also guarantees that every speaker gets real feedback rather than polite silence.

Dom names four; here are ten so that nobody is left out. Decide the allocation before the presentations start, and adjust as you listen. The rule is simple: every student leaves with an award and a reason.

Prep · 備課
No preparation needed. Dom asks for a celebration, so protect the atmosphere: no corrections during anyone's talk, and every student gets an award. One habit to stop before the first speaker starts — the apology opening. Students say 'My English is not good' out of politeness, and an English-speaking audience hears it as a fact.
不必備課。Dom 要的是慶祝，所以守住氣氛：任何人講的時候都不糾正，而且每個學生都要拿到一個獎。第一位上台前要先止住一個習慣——道歉式開場。學生出於客氣說「我英文不好」，英語聽眾會把它當成事實照單全收。
