The trap · put the point first

陷阱・結論放最前面

This is a rhetorical difference, not a language one, and it decides how organized a student sounds. Say your opinion in the first sentence, then spend two minutes defending it. Chinese-style build-up reads as wandering in English.
這是修辭差異，不是語言差異，卻決定一個學生聽起來有沒有條理。第一句就把意見講完，其餘兩分鐘都拿來辯護。中文式的層層鋪陳，在英文裡會被聽成沒有重點。

✗ 先講劇情五句，最後說「所以我覺得很好看」
✓ "This is the best film I have seen this year, and here is why."
結構：結論 → 理由一（證據）→ 理由二（證據）→ 再說一次結論

'I like it because it is good' is the sentence to eliminate. Every opinion must point at something that actually happened in the film — a scene, a line, a decision.
要消滅的句子是「我喜歡因為它很好」。每個意見都要指向電影裡真的發生過的東西——一個場景、一句台詞、一個決定。

✗ I like the main character because he is good.
✓ I like the main character because he gives the money back even though nobody is watching.

Rule: 每一個形容詞後面，都要跟一個「因為他做了什麼」。

紅毯專訪・訪談題

Dom's activity. One student is the critic, one is a character from the film. The critic asks; the character must stay in role and answer with evidence from the story. Swap after three minutes.
Dom 的活動。一個當影評、一個當片中角色。影評提問，角色要入戲，並用電影裡的事實回答。三分鐘後交換。

Critic: What would you say to ______ if you met them again?

Prep · 備課 No preparation needed, but know the habit you are fighting this week. Chinese presentations often build context first and arrive at the point near the end; English presentations state the point first and spend the rest proving it. A student who saves the best idea for last will sound unfocused to an English-speaking audience through no fault of their English.
不必備課，但要知道這週在對抗什麼習慣。中文的簡報常常先鋪陳、最後才講到重點；英文的簡報先講結論，其餘時間都用來證明它。把最好的想法留到最後的學生，在英語聽眾耳裡會顯得沒有重點——那跟他的英文程度無關。
