The lesson, minute by minute · 課堂流程
Review last week's assignment. Ask 2–3 students to share. Correct one common error and celebrate one strong example.
Teach 5–10 target words. Always include: meaning, Chinese equivalent when useful, example, synonym, antonym, and/or word family.
Vocabulary Detective Lab: students infer meanings from scenes, then verify and build word families/synonyms.
Each student produces something before leaving: a sentence, answer, mini-story, explanation, role-play, or spoken response. Keep it quick and visible.

Four kinds of clue, and students should try all four before opening anything. A guessed word sticks; a looked-up word evaporates by Friday.
四種線索，四種都試過再查。猜出來的字會留下，查出來的字禮拜五就蒸發了。
Dom asks students to choose words they genuinely want to use. Give them a test, or they will collect the rarest and most useless words in the film because those felt hardest.
Dom 要學生挑「真的想用」的字。給他們一個判準，否則他們會收集全片最罕見最沒用的字——因為那些感覺最難。
Dom's homework is a twelve-word poster. Do one together here so the format is clear. The sentence box is the only one that proves anything — insist it is about the student's own life, not the film.

Prep · 備課
No preparation needed. The words are the students' own this week, so the skill is choosing and inferring rather than memorizing. Two habits to break: reaching for the dictionary at the first unknown word, and keeping words they will never meet again.
不必備課。這週的字由學生自己挑，所以要練的是「怎麼挑、怎麼猜」，不是背。有兩個習慣要改：遇到第一個生字就查字典，以及留下一堆這輩子不會再遇到的字。
