Since 2022 their students have tutored Taiwan's children in English. In 2024 and again in 2025 they crossed the Pacific to learn, teach, and share culture in person.
A bridge from New York to Changhua
Since 2022, My Culture Connect has partnered with CCC Chinese School in Albany, the capital of New York State. Their students tutor Taiwan's elementary children in English online — turning a 12-hour time difference into real cultural exchange and language practice.
In July 2024, fourteen CCC students came to Taiwan for meaningful volunteer work. In 2025 they returned to Changhua — visiting elementary and vocational schools, making tofu, trying calligraphy, dragon dance and Chinese music, and co-teaching alongside local students.
